If you require assistance with your family research...

We may be able to help. Perhaps your question, or the missing link to connect your dead end, can already be found in NFFG archives. Perhaps NFFG can ADDITIONALLY make a contact or find a piece of evidence to help solve your questions. NFFG has been able to help many cousins who have tried to solve a genealogical mystery.

For example, read the words of thanks from Mark Bradley, June, 2007...

Hi NFFG Researcher,

The information below is quite the feat of unravelling if there ever was one!!! Thank you! I knew that there was two different Hezekiahs lines in Kent county but haven’t spent that much time in separating them.

(NFFG family research message to Mark follows...)

Or, read the message from Maureen Walker, November, 2007

Hi Richard, (NFFG project Co-ordinator)

I am in awh! I can barely get my mind around the information you sent me. Thank you so much!! I have just begun the research on the Phillips Family. The only information I had on them was my grandmother's Bible that said Seth s. Cornell married a Mary Phillips. After that I was able to put some information together when their daughter Marietta (my grgr grandmother) tried to get compensation from the government when her husband, John Wesley Puffer was killed in the civil war. Because she and John were married in Canada and she didn't have a marriage certificate, she had to get letters from her family saying they knew this marriage to have taken place. George P., Chancy, Ester, Priscilla and Louisa came forward and it is on record in the National Archives with John's war records. So you were right on.

I know you have just helped out a lot of people with this information And we all thank you so much for sharing.

I would love to know any other information you might have. If you would like you can reach me at my e-mail --------

Thanks again Maureen Walker

It is worth noting, that not all family data shown at our online website has been subjected to such careful scrutiny as is offered here. It might surprise you that we would admit this. Yet, sometimes we post information, as supplied by members or contributors, which needs further analysis, just to see whether any cousin will step forward and help perfect the data. We do this with certain important families who have produced significant future generations or events. Sometimes, someone contacts us, and we add new information, and move closer to perfection. It happens exactly this way, dozens of times a year. Sometimes, we are sent useful fragments of information, which are not quite strong enough to publish online, so we hold the notes in our archives, pending more information. To perfect such a family file without good direction, might take many hours of expensive genealogical analysis, and thus requires someone to step up and cover some of the expense of the research. That is one reason we offer the very economical help provisions on this page. In other cases, we are pleased to offer this help to anyone who has come up with a mystery, a controversy, or a dead end. Everyone gains when questions are answered.

You may wish to try our proven one-on-one Help Service. You may use Basic Search Help, or Forensic Analysis. Both levels of Help provide the services of an NFFG Genealogist, and access to our archives.

Basic Search Help: The fee for a unit of such help is $100. US. This fee will provide the services of an NFFG Genealogist to search all of our available records and archives, PLUS two hours of focused professional analysis. At the end of this period of analysis and research, you will be sent a professional report with ALL of our findings. This report may be sent by email and/or regular mail. If the situation, the solution to your question, is still uncertain, you will be advised. If additional time or research may be required, you will be advised of this. NO ADDITIONAL WORK will be undertaken without your approval.

Forensic Analysis is much more detailed and provides a higher degree of probablity. It includes all of the above Basic Search Help, but with five hours of research from a wider range of sources. The fee for a unit of Forensic Analysis is $350.00 US. Click here to see a sample of a Forensic Analysis. When you have finished reading this sample, click 'back' on your browser to return here.

The fee will ALSO provide a credit into the future, such that if new information is received by NFFG, which has a bearing on the answer to your question, you will be advised of this by email. This has happened many times, as new members have sent their family records.

Note that this fee does not provide for travel or off-site research. If you require specific off-site research, please advise with detail, and we will indicate the fee for such service. Return to the Main Page, and use our email address as if you were a member of NFFG, and send us the information.

Here's how to proceed. Click on one the links below to pay the appropriate Fee to our PayPal account. In the message area of your PayPal payment, indicate the NAME and approximate BIRTH DATE & LOCATION of the individual you are researching, or the marriage, etc. with the date(s) and location(s), especially if they are ALREADY FOUND in our NFFG Online Family Tree. Wait for us to reply by email. Then, it is advisable prepare a separate document with ALL of the information which you have at hand, including ALL of your research, and a description of the EXACT nature of your inquiry, in as much detail as you can provide. If you aware of any incorrect information which may be circulating, please advise us of this. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you focus our efforts as closely as possible, to maximize the value of our report, and to direct our research as closely as you can.

Help yourself as much as possible. If you live near a cemetery where one of your ancestors rests, and if the information on the stone could help, please visit the grave and take a rubbing. We will need to see the details of this. Take note of persons resting in the immediate vicinity. If you have documents - wills, vitals, biographies, etc., then scan these, save them as jpg files, and be ready to attach them to the email document which you will be sending us. Not everyone can do all this, especially if it is an older or distant family connection you are working on. Just tell us what you have.

Finally, we will be ready to proceed. On receiving your PayPal payment, we will send you an email of confirmation. We will ask for your detailed information, whatever you have, including your 'gut feelings'. Then, send us the document described above, and attach any copies of records or documents which have a bearing on your question, and send us this document with attachment(s), as your email reply. Then, be patient. In some cases, we have been able to solve matters in a day or two. In other cases, it has taken almost a month to fit the pieces of your puzzle together. In any case, we will send you a status report within seven days of your email information, and indicate when we think the final report will be ready: and perhaps ask you some additional questions.
